Phil Gouldson

Compassionate.  Generous.  Resilient.

Very early in my journey, I left the UK with my family to start the next chapter in Melbourne (which explains my abiding love of Collingwood, even through its adversity).

My passion for nurturing the potential of others is a thread throughout my professional life.   As a career public servant, I worked across multiple agencies in Canberra, Darwin, Sydney and Hobart, building and sharing my leadership and management expertise.

My second career is more directly involved in building skills and knowledge through training, coaching and consulting.  I’ve worked with people all over Australia and in Singapore.

And my third career as a gentleman farmer - with its strong connection to land and the renewing of life - brings me great satisfaction, although I do keep a careful eye out for brown snakes. The family dogs love the freedom, too.

My strong connection with nature has shaped other things I enjoy – exploring the world and camping in the outback – even better when shared with friends and family.

My overarching passion is my family. I am blessed with a wonderful wife and two amazing daughters, and with three granddaughters. They mean the world to me – they are my world.
